Review Courtesy of April Hollingworth

This is the third book in the series. Though you can read it on its own I would recommend reading the complete series in order, as the books continue from one another. I personally enjoyed Compelled and how Natalya found her inner courage to leave the man she loves and her pack so she can try and find a cure while knowing that her beloved husband might die at any moment. It begs the question how far would you be willing to go for those you love?

Opening Scene:

Years of suffering and solitude can change in a moment.

The Review:

Natalya hears in passing that Old Magic can possibly cure the darkness that is killing her husband Thorn. Taking a chance she leaves to travel to Russia, with the help of the gorgeous Tyler they travel to find Tamara a wolf who knows the banned Old Magic of the werewolves and who is also trying to find the cure. Natalya’s journey brings her out of her comfort zone and throws her into danger more times than she can count but with the elusive knowledge just out of her reach will Natalya find the knowledge and ability to cure Thorn before it’s too late?

Notable Scene:

I drew my nose to his chest and inhaled. His wonderful scent whispered poetry to my soul, and any pain I had wilted away. until he succumbed to what was bleeding his life away. As to when he would die, I didn’t know. All I knew was that Thorn didn’t have decades, or maybe even years left. With his arms wrapped around me and mine over his shoulders, no one could take him away from me-for now.
I held onto that. I’d waited this long for him. I will covet the time we had together until the very end.
